Well I got around to finishing these off for my first legion. based up in eights for Hail Caesar but I can combine for larger units in other rules. First experiment using brushed on dip method. Love Aventine figures.

Thanks guys @Sobieski – totally agree not enough evidence one way or the other and LMBS decals are rather good! @oldbob – yep they are rather sexy. Be interesting to see how my new Agema plastic ones are like Have to do the Prinicpes next though |

Great job and very effective basing. Those punchy small units in Hail Caesar make the Romans very hard to beat!

Garry – Thats what I'm counting on! This is first legion so making it slightly larger 24/24/12. Others will be 16/16/8 Got some Agema plastics to try as well. Hopefully get some opening the box pics on blog soon Stew |
