Some very interesting reading on China during the Boxer Rebellion era, came from the books published and reports sent back to home Conferences by Methodist missionaries in China. First hand reports and descriptions of the clothing, bulidings and other features. The power of individual warlords in certain areas was a main underlying point in them. |
