Another small battle from our Sudan Campaign. It was Major Lambert's turn. Lambert's force includes British Cavalry which is always a pain for our Dervish Forces. I hope you enjoy the AAR in pictures.

Yet another excellent AAR from your ongoing campaign, Dan -- or should I say, Guru??? Either way, thanks for posting!

Question: does this mean the next action up will be a major battle involving British Gunboat(s) vs. Madhist Gunboat and dhows on the Nile, while respective land forces do battle on one or both sides of the river…?

Good looking Ral Partha Colonials!

Mad Guru you are correct. The Gunboat actions are coming up. One will be at the battle for Berber and another when the Cairo and/or the Giza arrive here at Atbara or a little farther downriver. I am working out the Gunboat Diplomacy Charts as we speak.

Doc Ord – How are you? The figures are either Old Glory or Perry. Most of the dervish are Old Glory with the exception of the Kordofan Perry plastics that also show up in these battles.

Danno, That was another thrilling AAR! I really like how you blend the commanders written report along with the visual of the annotated photos. It makes for a very fun read. Your campaign is really moving along nicely. I too am really looking forward to seeing your amazing gunboats in action.
Cheers,
JB

PS. Those Brits are from the old Ral Parths line.

Oh you guys are right about Ral Partha! I forgot that Major Lambert is of course using his figures!

Sgt. Guinness thank you for correcting me, Doc Ord, sorry for doubting you, it won't happen again Sir!
