So other than navwar can anyone point me to companies who supply ships in this scale, I particularly want Russian ww1 fleets. Cheers |

Not really a lot of Russians but: link skytrex.com Navwar are nicer ;) GHQ do them in 1/2400. They cost nearly as much as the originals, but then they probably carry the same level of detail. |

War Time Journal Miniatures wtj.com/store Some of the best 1/3000 models wtj.com/wtj0022.html That's a link to Ruso-Japanese War pewter miniatures. mmm
pardon, I had thought their new printed models included WW1. I guess I was mistaken. WTJ 3D models are far superior to Shape ways but that won't help if they don't make your period. Still go and see what quality 1/3000 should be in pewter and check out the new printed stuff for a glimpse of the future |

I donīt think Skytrex does Russian WWI, and as for MY Miniatures the quality leaves a lot to be desired, at least the stuff I saw several years ago. I know you donīt like the old school ordering of Navwar, but I bought all of the WWI fleet packs (including Russia) from him a few years ago and was quite happy with them. You might want to reconsider, the guy has a huge selection at great prices with excellent customer service. |

WTJ has pre-dreadnought stuff, so you can only really get early WW1 ships when a lot of pre-dreadnoughts where around. Very nice models – I plan to buy more from them where they have the model and Navwar to fill in the rest. |
