Hafţór "Thor" Júlíus Björnsson is now The Mountain on Game of Thrones. link Not much in the line of SPOILER but I just wanted to see how his name would format in the TMP headline. SPOILER: I think he is Ser Robert Strong in later books. In other news, Jim Irsay of the Indianapolis Colts thought of signing him as an offensive lineman. If you could wrap up and ducktape Ndamukong Suh or Jedaveon Clowney, it might work. OR if they were beer kegs. |

As "Ty" Lannister would say, "I thought you had a talent for violence, Clegane." And apparently the talented TMP formatting handled it pretty well. |

I actually prefer the first Mountain, Conan Stevens, because he seems like more of a genuinely crazy guy. |

Neither the first nor the second had any dialog. Oh, wait. The second one glared and grumbled. I think he also said "You!". Once. |

Introduction of new Mountain that Rides – stupid. Glimpse of his armor in pre-view suggests typical HBO Dungeon & Dragon fantasy silliness. Too bad not in a the bad ass full plate/mail described in books. Spoiler: Lets hope the great duel too come is not some silly ninja/anime square dance but the tight tactical fight of the books. I saw reverse flip dancing and weapon twirling in the previews. 'Nuff said. |
