Hello all. Still stuck on this topic….

For my home-built Ogre, I'm considering using 12 or 16-sided die as universal turrets. In keeping the Ogre close to the SJG model (which I'm actually not 100% sold on, btw) I thought that the use of a gun sticking out of one number, with the other numbers glued to make them smooth, seems doable. Any thoughts?

You can buy blank dice without engraved numbers, so you need not even glue the sides to make them smooth.

D16 were a bit harder to track down, and a bit more expensive, but I did find these on Shapeways:

what scale are you talking ? For SJ Ogre scale that must be some small dice.
I used small beads putting the gun barrels though the holes.
Talking about the main guns, and real small beads for the secondary batteries, super small beads for the AP guns.
