Hello all. Still stuck on this topic…. For my home-built Ogre, I'm considering using 12 or 16-sided die as universal turrets. In keeping the Ogre close to the SJG model (which I'm actually not 100% sold on, btw) I thought that the use of a gun sticking out of one number, with the other numbers glued to make them smooth, seems doable. Any thoughts? |

You can buy blank dice without engraved numbers, so you need not even glue the sides to make them smooth.

D16 were a bit harder to track down, and a bit more expensive, but I did find these on Shapeways:

what scale are you talking ? For SJ Ogre scale that must be some small dice.
I used small beads putting the gun barrels though the holes.
Talking about the main guns, and real small beads for the secondary batteries, super small beads for the AP guns. |
