Yesterday I received the photos of the greens of incoming Sci-Fi Combat Engineers set in 15mm scale.
The set is planned to hit the market within 1-2 months and it will be followed by second squad from the same line. |

Very impressive they look great but ill hold off buying them until both squads are in full production though, the grizzled sarg with flamer is a must have in his own right. :) Zac |

The last pic reminded me of an uncle who in the last days of WWI gave up his rifle for german hand grenades (he never told me how the Dorsets ended up with loads) a trench mace and one of those nice big French bayonets. |

@Avamango The second set will not be engineers, but also top-nod and a bit niche ones. With a little luck I menage to prepare selling both of them at one time. More details soon. |

These look awesome! Really great, characterful sculpts! |
Marcin from Assault Publishing | 19 May 2014 6:48 a.m. PST |
IHMO to make the good minis you need good ideas and good sculpting. The ideas are mine and sculpts are made by Marcin Tomaszek (for example he made some 15 mm greens for Oddzial Ósmy). The brain of genius and hand of master – it couldn't go wrong! ;) |

Very nice, I will buy two of each set. |

I am with badger22. The bolt cutter guy and entrenching tool guy are just to good not to own. Great figures. This is what all 15mm should look like. They are real skirmish/role play characters. |

Wow!!!! I really want those guys
All of them! They are going to be part of my salvage-mining-privateering crew. Dan TMP link TMP link |

OK, these are excellent! The whole batch--but as just like everyone else, the bolt cutter guy and the entrenching tool man are perfect! And the vet with the flame thrower? Looks like Sgt. Nick Fury, from his WWII days

This is what all 15mm should look like. It's rather impossible. The developing the APDS consumes so much time (not mentioning money
), that some other companies can releases half of the range in the same time we make first two sets. We need to discuss every miniature, perfect every detail and after many weeks of work, with like luck the first 9 minis have the chance to go to the casting
It's very similar situation like with Clear Horizon Miniatures, where after 2 years there are just a few, but very cool sets. |

Love the flame thrower guy, trying to think how I can fit these into existing collections, might have to be engineers for my exterminators. |
Marcin from Assault Publishing | 21 May 2014 9:34 p.m. PST |
I don't know what you have in your collection. But useful information can be that the minis are scaled to match Oddzial Ósmy and Rebel Minis in term of size and proportions. |

Patience please. The casting was ordered, but as I want to keep the best quality it will be done by the finest miniature producer in Poland together with their prodution run. Regards, Marcin |

You cannot wait to get them and paint, aren't you? Me too, to be honest :D The pre-production casting was made. They are planned to be casted and shipped at the end of this week. I need some time to pack them. The end of the first week of July seems to be real term. BTW. I plan next squads. |
Cacique Caribe | 22 Jun 2014 10:09 p.m. PST |
Don't need to wait for them to be painted at all. Just when they're ready to ship. Just let me know when to give you my money. :) Thanks, Dan |

Today I've got the minis casted. I can tell the the quality of casting is really fine: O8 guys made great work as always!
Repacking will take some time, but it's closer than futher! |
Cacique Caribe | 02 Jul 2014 9:10 a.m. PST |
Definitely closer! Wonderful news, Dan |
Antonius Block | 02 Jul 2014 11:40 p.m. PST |
Great! Can I ask, who are the 08 guys? |
Marcin from Assault Publishing | 03 Jul 2014 3:18 a.m. PST |
O8 = Oddzial Osmy :) Packing is definitely the least funny part of the project (not counting paying invoices of course – but paying is quick at least!). I gave the few models for painting. I plan to start selling them within 8-12 days. |

I was sitting and packing
and packing
and packing
and packing
untill midnight. So far I dealt with all SF Observers ( TMP link ) and I started Combat Engineers. It takes some time, as I want to check if every mini fullfils quality criteria and eliminate miscasts. |
Antonius Block | 05 Jul 2014 1:03 p.m. PST |
packing? that's what interns is for. |
Marcin from Assault Publishing | 06 Jul 2014 11:55 p.m. PST |
Does it mean that you volunteer for practice? ;) |
Marcin from Assault Publishing | 15 Jul 2014 3:49 a.m. PST |
Everything is ready, I'm wainting only for painted minis. I wish not to start the selling of the whole line from showing the greens. :D |
badger22 | 15 Jul 2014 7:28 a.m. PST |
It would not surpeise me if you sold the entire bunch just from the greens. I would buy the set just ofr the guy with the shovel. but the rest are cool as well. |
Marcin from Assault Publishing | 16 Jul 2014 3:13 a.m. PST |
Hmmm… I need to consider it. My painter has some delays and the minis should be ready in the middle of next week. Everything else is ready and in the beginning of August I'm off for two weeks and I want to send the main wave of orders before. |
