The London Telegraph is reporting (with several illustrations) that Lt. John Chard's sketches of the battle at Rorke's Drift went on public display for the first time today. They are part of "Treasures from the Royal Archives" exhibit at Windsor Castle. Queen Victoria was so taken with the British fight at the drift that Chard prepared a special illustrated report for her so she could follow the action step-by-step. link Too bad I live in the southern US and can't go see these. But I'm glad our British cousins can. Jim |

Wow, that is something I would like to see too! It also gives one an urge to fire up Zulu. But ColCampbell, it is never too bad you live in the southern US |
