Hi chaps, A quick note to confirm that I have just completed a large project to map the evolution of the Austro-Hungarian army. This comprises a large Excel spreadsheet with a column for each year from 1546 to 1914 and which includes the origin and changes effecting every Regiment raised during this period. To complete the project, I have taken information from the annual Schematismus army lists, the works by Alphons von Wrede and the epic by Georg Tessin. The full names of Regiment Inhabers are included. If this is of interest, I am very happy to send you a copy (no charge). Please email : phil-carrington (at) virginmedia (dot) com I also have similar lists for the French and British army which are available. The lists will be scanned using Norton before being emailed. Cheers, Phil |
