I'd like to take credit for these, but they were actually painted by my wife.

My God! Is she a good cook too? Any sisters?

GHQ models-right?

Jabo 194417 May 2014 7:23 p.m. PST

Beautifully done ! I'd like to see more close ups if possible ? The detail looks most impressive.

WWIICentral17 May 2014 7:32 p.m. PST

She is a good cook as well… I really lucked out! Unfortunately all of her sisters are married too :)

These are indeed GHQ.

As for close ups, here is one (keep in mind these guys are tiny! so close ups can be hard)

pigasuspig17 May 2014 10:12 p.m. PST

Wow that's as detailed as the 1/100th Panthers I just finished. Her work is truly amazing!!!

Always a little terrifying to glimpse the new frontiers of what is possible in this hobby!

Incredible -- that is probably the best paint job I've ever seen of micro armor! And I like your terrain tile too -- thanks for sharing.

Just lovely.

Does she take commissions?

Jeigheff18 May 2014 6:40 a.m. PST

Your wife is a gifted painter!

Buzzkill18 May 2014 7:31 a.m. PST

I wish I could paint that good at 1/72 let alone 1/285. Beautiful!

Timmo uk18 May 2014 8:49 a.m. PST

Stunning – better than many in larger scales. It would be interesting to see more of your wife's brush work.

forrester18 May 2014 1:05 p.m. PST

Stunning-if I'd had to guess the scale, I'd have said 15 or even 20mm.

Cerdic18 May 2014 11:52 p.m. PST

Those are excellent! The colour looks spot on. What paints did she use?

Blackhorse MP19 May 2014 9:06 a.m. PST

WOW! Very possibly the best Micro Armor paint job I've ever seen. I'm assuming she used some type of black wash to really bring out the detail?

Lord Hill19 May 2014 2:48 p.m. PST

Awesome!
