We now have all the foot artillery miniatures, the 12 and the 4 Pdr and the ammo-caisson in place while the 6 and 8Pdr are on the work-bench.
We too have a Saxon field-forge…

And the suitable painting-card that comes now with parade options in case somebody wants to paint Steve Barbers wonderful full-dress Saxons.

Some of the best sculpts I've seen. Very neat well proportioned with good poses and excellent faces, should be a real treat to paint.( I love the earlier Saxons 1809 myself) but these will do justice to all later armies. Who's the sculptor BTW?
All in all very well done. Cheers

Thank you Zargon, the sculptor is Paul HIcks.

Terrific stuff Kawe, I have been looking forward to these and they surpass by already high expectations. Any rough idea how far away the 8pder is?

Burkhart, your time will come! Echt jetzt. :--)

Plutarch, thank you very much. You have no idea how keen I am to put my first battery together! Re 8Pdr: Niels is on it just like the 6Pdr while Bob is doing the Saxon Artillery train harnessing at the moment. I expect the gunners to be ready in about 2 weeks and the rest of the guns and related bits in about 4.

Absolute perfection! It makes me want to start a Saxon army but I must stick to the game plan……oh….hmmm….what was it again? I was so blown away it derailed my train of thought!

Hi Kawe. I see there are some problems on your Web page codes Br-08 British twice and showing Saxons? As well your army discounts should be by "order amount" Re 350 pounds 25% not just Saxons only. Also when is the general's coach ready with the fat man ready to sell. Barry

KaweWeissiZadeh19 May 2014 2:38 a.m. PST

Thank you Barry – your help is much appreciated!

The coach is ready and so is the Tzar, just the driver is still with Bill Thornhill!
If you like a Landau without Fat man than that's no problem however.
