Nice there was small realise from khurasan with this white troopers.I got some do to the fact that they have separated heads I will never glue or paint them but they are nice models to have. Did you considered using Earth Force ATs from Reel miniatures or Blue Monn Miniatures model that I they realised recently I forget the name or simply models from GZG New federal States Europa minis are just right for that,Helmeted and masked im planning to get some to. O and try meaby to look as Husari they are r wopuld look rather nice. They have an imperial look to them and im sure they would make nice STs I do apologise if mine English is rather chaotic as an excuse I will say its not mine first language. |

I passed the white troopers, as said I love proxies more than actual clones (pun intended) of the licence
Yes I've considered them, but ended up liking the Control Battalion better. I admit they aren't even a close match for SW stromtroopers, but they've got that sinister look and funny shaped helmet factors that, to me, is more the essence of evil empire stormtroopers that any actual aesthetic similarity
I don't claim to have the perfect or right or better solution, just the one that works for me! |

Ha, you want to use the control troopers for Imperials and I am using them for Helghast soldiers. Wonder what else they could be used as? 15mm Cobra Command troops I suppose. |

Since I am into Star Wars right now. Would love to see what these not-st figures look like. ;-) |

I like the way you think, I've also been considering a similar force. I'd consider using the UNSC hardsuits from GZG as Clone/Stormtrooper analogs. I was leaning towards a more 'Clone Wars' style force (just to add a little color) and using the OCT-Tank series from GZG as walker support. -Will |

Those GZG UNSC do indeed look like very good not stormtroopers! Good call on the Clone Wars force
Keep the infantry, paint another set of vehicles and you god an entirely new force! The GZG OcTank is the obvious choice for not-AT-TE What about Khurasan Doe for not-LAAT? Too much of a Mil Mi-24? What about (beyond a white and red paint job) changing the weapons pods, the chin turret (and maybe replacing the dorsal EOS with another turret) with something a bit more "zorty"? Or Rebel Titan Marines dropship? I like it a bit less but it has a slightly higher tech look
Maybe I'll keep the Doe for a Terran not-Russian force and use the Titan one for those clone troopers

Blue moons Iderions might make good clone warrior types, just snip off the helmet comb. |

Blue moons Iderions might make good clone warrior types, just snip off the helmet comb. I think that Blue moons Galactic Mercenaries would make very good Imperial Storm trooper proxies their weapons and armour are pretty much bang on the button, just add a bit of putty to the helmets to separate the eye lenses and your be good to go.
Ive already bought up a load of Ionage Retained knights to use as Clone troops and i have my Mac D happy meal AT-TE's, just got to get around to painting them all up. ;D Zac
