I ordered some flocking gel in early March. Paid through PayPal and that seems to have gone through. Never got the order and have made several inquiries through their website, but no response. It's possible that responses may have been caught in my spam filter? |

I asked this a few year ago, but before I ordered. |

I have found them to be very slow, but delivered in the end. I ordered some bases, it took a couple months, an extra message, but they all came in good order it would be sad if they went out of business as they offer quite a few unique products. |

I have found them slow, but reliable in the past. But like dbf1676, I now wonder. I've had no response to any order I posted in January, and no response to several queries about status. Rick |

No response to an order placed in Jan
.and no response to queries either. I hope your order wasn't too big

I've been in the hobby long enough to have been stung much worse, so no. The problem is I really like the RI medium gel for ground cover, and I don't know of another source. Rick |
GamesPoet | 28 May 2014 6:18 a.m. PST |
This doesn't sound good. And I placed an order recently, but haven't received it yet either, nor a reply to my email, nor voicemail. Just a kind word in return could do a world of good on such issues. |
ACWBill | 28 May 2014 12:31 p.m. PST |
@Rick, what is Medium Ground Cover? If it is flocking gel, everthing they used to carry at RI is to be found at Michael's under the Golden Gel Medium line. If flocking and turf, try Scenic Express. |
Florida Tory | 11 Jun 2014 5:05 a.m. PST |
Bill, Thanks! I'll try that. I've used some of the other Michael's gels, but not their Golden Gel line. Rick |

I ran Bill's advice to ground. For the benefit of anyone else caught out, the Rennaisance Ink medium flocking gel is identical to the Golden Artist Colors coarse pumice gel sold at my local Michael's. It's a few dollars more, but the jar is 8 oz. vs. the 4 oz. in an RI jar. Twice as much, and no postage – what's not to like? The sad part, though, is that as of today the RI home page carries a note that it was last updated May 10, 2014, but my January order remains unfulfilled! And I have had no contact from them. Caveat emptor. Rick |

I put in an order for some rubber steel on 30 July from R.I. and have yet to receive the product. No reply to my email yet, looks like I may have to resort to Pay Pal complaint / refund before the 45 days is up. Brian |

I had ordered items from them on August 13 and hadn't recieved anything. I filed a complaint with Payapl. Allegedly it was shipped 4 days after I filed the complaint on the 19th of September. I had previously e-mailed Renaissance about the items but never heard a word. All they said is that the item shipped and a tracking number. No apology or anything. Very rude person and terrible businessman. Won't deal with them again. |

I actually did recieve the items I ordered. I had to file a complaint with PayPal to actually get any response from him but it was shipped. No note or anything at least attempting to explain why there wasn't a response to my e-mail asking about the order. I will certainly need to find another venue to purchase from if my items work for me. I won't deal with Renaissance Inks again. |

I finally got my late July order in mid October, they made an error in the postal code. I like their products (rubber steel, Paper Steel), just wish there were not such long delays in shipping. Anyone know of another source for Rubber steel? Brian |

Litko sells rubber steel. |

I've emailed Ren Ink twice in the past month, no answer. Their website is down and the phone number on their catalog has been disconnected. Not very good signs. I used to buy steel paper from them. Does anyone know where else I can get it? |
Tim95th | 14 Apr 2015 6:59 a.m. PST |
I can help with steel paper sheets. I have a supply of approximate 12" x 9" sheets, which also come with a full page label sheet (8.5"x11") to run through printer. these are $5.00 USD per sheet, plus shipping. If you purchase 5 sheets or more, i can ship them in the lower 48 free for 1st class mail and $3.00 USD for priority mail. I also have a source for rubber steel. This can be shipped in rolls or cut to a specific size – but in large quantity – Rubber Steel Flexible Sheet .025"by 24.375" wide on a 50' roll with Rubber based Pressure Sensitive Adhesive. This would yield for example approximately 120 pieces cut to 7.625" x 14" – which fit into the plastic storage cases – such as sold by baggage train. If you have any large quantity needs, let me know and I can get estimate for cost, cutting, shipping to your address. I also have a source for the plastic storage cases and the carrying bags. Hello, At first, RI seemed very responsive. However, I have sent them about five emails over the past couple months without a response. It would be fine if they responded with an interm message, however, it has been nothing. I will not be ordering anything from them in the future. Steve R. |

I placed an order for their chestnut brown ink last year that I never received. Numerous followups and no response. Does anyone know a good substitute brand for their inks? I found them to be particularly good as staining and sealing which is why I used them for sealing and coloring sand on bases. |

Last time I heard from them was October 2014. Couldn't make contact with them after that, and cancelled their advertising here. |
