North Star have put up a picture of a "marine" for their forthcoming pirate group. While this is very welcome, as pirate ranges never have government troops, does anyone know about the curious hat he is wearing

This is North Star's representation of the early 1700s British Marine uniform which, I think, may have been worn until the SYW/FIW period. Nice looking figures with great "Marine" scowls. Jim |

usefull figs , but waiting for some spanish, french, dutch marines too . and some informations on the pre-order . late may, as said by Nick on twitter or august as said in the last NS news letter ? |
