Are these going to be for sale through someone? |
The Epic Gamer | 13 May 2014 6:34 a.m. PST |
That's the plan, still working on all of that. I'm hoping it'll be through me and by sometime this year. |

Luvverly. Now I want to finish up my Landsknechts. |

For those that might be interested in them, how much would you pay for a unit of 15, two-man strips (6mmx18mm)? That would give you enough for a Warmaster unit with 5 strips per base. |
Steve W | 13 May 2014 8:53 a.m. PST |
So is that 30 figures in total? If so then 4-5 quid
|

It would be particularly good if these are sold in sets of 30 or 36 figures (including one set of command figures) to make Warmaster units (which typically have three bases, each with 10 or 12 figures, with command figures on one of the three stands). But in event, I'm looking forward to buying these, they look great! I would pay $10 USD or $12 USD for a unit like that, easily, and would consider $15. USD |

The plan is 30 figs (14 two-swordmen strips (out of 6 possible variants) and a single command strip), yes. My plan was a Landsknecht themed Dogs of War army, as it appeals to both fantasy and historical gamers. Plus these guys will fit in alongside an Empire army pretty easily too as my buddy sent Bob some Empire Halberdiers and Skirmishers for reference. |

If they are to be used for Renaissance gaming, could the swords be a little smaller? |
The Epic Gamer | 13 May 2014 12:45 p.m. PST |
I can ask, but I believe they're that thick for casting purposes. |
Ivan DBA | 13 May 2014 5:20 p.m. PST |
I think they look perfect as is: bear in mind these are 10mm figs and weapons have to be a bit exaggerated both for visual effect, and for durability. I'm really looking forward to buying some of these. Good luck getting them into production, and please keep us posted. |

Can do, looking at doing a Kickstarter in June to cover costs for molding/casting, as well as making sculpting another unit (pikemen). @morrigan, the swords are staying as is for casting purposes and durability on the table-top. Dave |

Wow. Those are very nice. Can't wait to see them painted up. Bob could get good publicity if he offered a unit to some of the accomplished painters on TMP and elsewhere. |

Here's the latest shot:
The banner is being shortened and the parierhaken more defined. |

Looking forward to seeing these. I have been waiting for something like this to act as an elite for a Warmaster Empire army. Phil
