Here I show you some of my Biblical painted figures, the Hittites. I think the Hittites from Caesar are a bit strange, I don't imagine this people standing the heat at Qadesh with those weird boots and long robes. Anyway, I tried to make them look as right as I could, but I wasn't fully satisfied with them.

Nothing wrongs with the boots depicted and armor was donned only when battle was imminent. The "overcoat" too, seems only to have been worn when battles were fought. The bare chested warriors however, are probably not correct given any current research I've seen. |

I have given up advising plastic manufacturers about what not to make. Obviously I do not know what I'm talking about. |

Well, here it appears the bowmen bare chested, or at least it looks like that; link I don't if they are supposed to be Hittites or some client kingdom. Or in this artwork; link Although I don't know the sources of it. Anyway, I suppose they are not that bad, just I had made myself a different idea of them which now is hard to erase :S . |

Very nice job. Have you painted any of the Caesar Hittite chariots yet? |

With regard to boots
The Assyrians in later period are seen with boots fighting all over Near east. |
