I have a a copy of DNI POWSTANIA a book consisting of roughly 300 pages of photos mostly taken by Home Army combat photographers, a few rare German shots. It's in Polish and all of photos taken before or during the uprising. Printed in Warsaw in 1957. Must be a bit of a rarity!
Anyway in there we can see
* several photos with a one or two Borgward IV radio controlled demo tanks
* some ROA with 37mm or 45mm gun and a Stug (only partial)
* number photos of Stug IIIG, all but one with side skirts, some number all in 300+ series. No sign of zimmerit, but they're not the clearest photos.
but no Sturm Tigers.
Also the Home army captured a Hetzer – with Polish eagle and name 'CHWAT' painted on front, an SDKFZ 251/D which is photoed driving around with a large Polish flag flying, as well as one 75mm PAK40. Finally we see on the outskirts of Warsaw a captured Panther which was still in running order.
A few photos show burnt out armoured vehicles – most very badly damaged. Have made out a Borgward B IV – without charge and a surprising Italian M13/40.
There are a couple of photos of home made armoured cars, one has a camo scheme which looks like British 'Malta' pattern, but it is in the middle of a crowd, can't even see if it has a rotating turret. The other we can see whole vehicle, which is called 'KUBUS', no turret.
If you want I can scan a couple of pages and send them on. Use 'contactus@forceofarms.co.uk to reach me
