Cherry blossoms are almost compulsory in any samurai game. But because the cherry blossom season is actually very short-lived, every battle portrayed in a wargame must've taken place in that short window of time each year!

Anyway, my own samurai gaming is no different. So my latest blog posting features lashings of cherry-blossoms as well as colourful samurai.

Enjoy!

Roly, as always I love your stuff. There are a few guys on the web (you, Scott Macphee, Giles, Dave Taylor, Silver Whistle, etc) whose figures and terrain never disappoint, and this is no exception.

And no worries on the cherry blossoms… Your poor Japanese citizens just had a bad week or two!:)

Cherry Blossom season might only last a week or two in any given location, but it takes a good 10-12 weeks to go from south to north!

Very well done.

Thanks for the nice comments, guys.

For more info on where I got the cherry-blossom trees, and how I tarted them up, take a look at this article on my blog:
