I will be finalizing the Campaign rules. I intend to give it a try in about 9 months. (Playtesting and evaluation to be done.)
the game will be of the "International War Game" type with twelve positions, each of an independent country. Non-sovereign are possible. The game will be entirely played by simple e-mail. The game features military forces, diplomacy, politics, Economics and trade (on a generalized level), Choose or make your own Victory Conditions" special National Characteristics, differing capabilities and order of battle. Personalities, statesmen, secret societies etc. The format will be an Imagin-Nation World in the 18th century.
The format will be simple. You receive NO game materials. Only a write-up of your country (about 2 pages) and a general précis of the others is given. Everything is handled by the umpire. Player input is structured on a narrative basis. Each turn player input is limited to sending in your intention or that round. These intentions must be in a simple statement of no more than 20 words in length. No abbreviations or codes, in proper English sentences. No conditions or "What If's." Special actions and player initiative is allowed with umpire approval.
