Never mind the width of the bridge – the engineer recce party should have informed the armour commander that a wooden bridge built to carry farm wagons etc won't support a 65 ton AFV in any case. Barrie |

My thought as well Great modeling – but I wonder where you would find an Elephant with an English sign (Italy?) |

I'm not saying the AFV wouldn't end up there, what I am saying is the commander wouldn't be thinking, "Damn. That bridge is just a little too narrow" instead of "No effing way that bridge won't collapse." |

Yeah the Elefant commander really ought to be looking backwards to see how he can guide his beast out of the bottleneck. I do kinda like the "Haha" look on the fellow beside the car though. |

He'll be laughing on the other side of his face when he runs smack into the enemy and looks back for his armoured support! |

Great models !!!! Great Work !!!! Yes, Elefants were used in Italy, so I'd imagine this is where that diorama takes place
And having served in 3 Mech Bns, worldwide, plus being attached to Armored Bns. I can truly say this type of thing happened
rarely
