I asked on the blog but worth a question here too – tell us about the roofing tiles on the buildings. Just fantastic.

answer is here and on the blog:

the roofs are Plastruct pre-formed styrene O scale Spanish roof tile cut to size on a flat piece of sheet styrene for strength. I then fill the edges with wood filler so it looks solid.
