"Whether you loved or hated last week's episode, this week you're getting more of it: more quietly interesting conversations that were never in the books, more Sansa, more Craster's Keep, and more moving the pieces around the chessboard in preparation for whatever big play is coming next. Rather than action, this one's all about family, but especially about mothers, sisters and daughters–and about how mixed up and tragic those relationships can get when loss and jealousy get involved. Also Cersei is really, really nice, which is actually kind of frightening. Kings Landing "Long may he reign!" shouts everyone at the coronation of Tommen I, but especially Cersei and Margaery, aka the incestuous mom and the older woman about to marry her son. There's a lot of overlap between the two sort-of queens, and not just because they were both displaced from their more proper queendoms by the rather convenient deaths of their husbands. When the once and current Queen Regent interrupts Margaery's Mrs. Robinson glances as Tommen during the coronation, you think the claws are about to come out–but strangely, they don't. Instead, Cersei admits that while she loved Joffrey, he was basically a monster to everyone around him, but that sweet, honest Tommen has the chance to be the first good king in at least 50 years. Even more strangely, Cersei practically rolls out the red carpet for Margaery's remarriage into the family: "He will need help, if he's going to rule well. A mother is not enough," which is the least Cersei-like comment imaginable, especially from a woman who once threatened to strangle Margaery in her sleep for calling her "sister." Sensing weakness, Margaery goes in for a verbal double-slap with a smile on her face: "I won't even know what to call you soon, sister or mother."

The real power is the spider in the center of the web of treachery and poisoning. The one who likes Chaos and just got married. Before he is done, more heads will roll and the land will be a waste land. |

"Even more strangely, Cersei practically rolls out the red carpet for Margaery's remarriage into the family" Not so strange considering the financial straits the Lannisters are in. Wars cost money and the Lion sees the bank calling its due soon
The Tyrell's are the only source of concentrated wealth remaining in Westros that can assist keeping Cerci and the Lannisters power. |

And of course winter is still coming, Tommen is a nice kid but the wolves, vultures and heyena`s are circling and will eventually tear him apart. |
