A few of you were asking if we ever get around to offer horses for our carts. We were listening and now have a Prussian and a French Set with a Saxon Set in the making. Frank Germershaus was sculpting this set and I just love everything about it.

See that last picture?
yeah, that's how I still dance – Buster Move. Your work is magnificent. Well done. I don't know how the finished painted figures will look but certainly those greens look amazing. The train horses and harnesses are fabulous as well. |

Outstanding sculpting! Do you think there may be a gap in the market for mounted Horse Artillerymen? Some people like to model limbered horse guns and a few mounted gunners help with the 'diorama' look, but so few manufacturers do them in 28mm

Thanks for the kind words. I always wanted mounted gunners
Not sure if there's some sort of gap tho. I have a feeling all the gaps were filled years ago. |

Kawe, this is great news. When do you estimate these and the other Saxon artillerists will be available? |

Realistically within 3 weeks. There's a real wave of items coming in and everything will be sort off ready at the same time. I'll make another announcement once the new bits are with us. |

I see there is now a second posting of this, which I hope does not dilute the responses. These will be marvellous castings, but I am especially taken by the imagination that went into the mounting driver. That is so unusual and "something different". These deserve to do well. |

@ Sparker: I'd definitely buy mounted Horse Artillerymen, French and other nations'. Since gunner poses tend to be less generic than infantry in "march attack", I strive to have marching crews to replace those serving the gun when on the move. For Foot Artillery this can usually be achieved through the proper paint job and a squint, but for Horse it's more tricky, esp. as most cavalry figures will be brandishing their swords or sabres. |

@ Kawe: Do these come with a limber, at least as an option? This would make them ideal for me. |

We have the 8Pdr Limber that could be bought separately. |
