Judging from the fur collars and the manufacturer's name, I'd guess they are meant to represent members of one of the 'Siberian Legions' who were trying to get home from Siberia during the last Russian Revolution. |

They are in the Polish section. There are also firing rifles, and a HMG team. Also of note are the Polish and Basmadi cavalry and the "Defenders of the Manor" set which is really nice! link |

Wasn't somebody looking for a lass dressed like that a few days ago? I am please4d to see that they are not wearing bikinis or jean shorts and shrunken T-shirts! Grelber |

These are figures for the Polish women's legion in the Soviet Polish war of 1920.
imdb.com/title/tt1783244 I've wanted to get some of these figures, but not sure about ordering from Siberia. Has anybody gotten figures from this company? |

I hadn't realized there was a Polish women's unit. Having seen the movie "Ninotchka", I assumed the figures were for the Red Army women's unit Ninotchka was part of when wounded fighting a polish lancer (Don't feel sorry for me; feel sorry for the Polish lancer. I'm alive.) Grelber |

The main character in Battle of Warsaw 1920 is a lancer. He is captured by Russians. Perhaps Ninotchka ( played by Greta Garbo) tended him during that time. In the BOW movie, he is later tended by Ola Raniewska (Natasza Urbanska). What a beautiful pair of ladies to be tended by. |
