I am looking for a review or summary of these rules. Thanks in advance for any insight into them! |

No responses. I take that to mean these rules haven't shown up on many radar screens. Unfortunately, Collectors Battlefield has not responded helpfully to a query sent to them; so I'll pass on these rules and figures. |

I'd never heard of them
I was hoping someone would respond so I'd find out about them but I guess it's not surprising that no one knows of them if they don't even respond to a direct communication themselves :) I presume you have already tried Chain of Command or Bolt Action. Both very different skirmish games which have wide appeal. Worth a look if you don't know them already. |

For WWII skirmish, I have Bolt Action as well as several of the sets from Too Fat Lardies, Battleground World War II and a few others. But I'm always interested in new rules. Collectors Battlefield did respond to my query, but their reply was unhelpful. I asked whether they knew of any reviews of their rules; their response was, yes, they played them and liked 'em. When I replied looking for something more substantive, I got no response. Oh well. . . . |

I'm a year late in replying, I just found these miniatures in a Southern California Hobby shop this week. They are expensive, but very nicely pre-painted minis. Clean sharp 28mm mouldings. I'm a very poor painter, so the expense has to be endured. I plan to use the miniatures for Bolt Action. I have not seen the system rules and there is a review on a blog, but you can't actually view them. There are multiple schools of thought. I ended up purchasing from two different shops and still was not able to get what I wanted. Neither shop is regularly restocking because they can't sell them. This is a company that wants 30.00 USD for the rules, and 9.00 USD per figure. They have simply out priced the average gamer. Its the old argument between the quick nichol or the slow dime. If your goal is to sell mini's it might be best to give the rules away as a hook. I would still come down slightly on the minis as well. In my opinion, its more profitable to sell bulk than selling small amounts for a premium. |
