Hi Everyone!

Here's one of things I've been working on lately as part of my forthcoming line of 25/28mm fantasy terrain. This is a temple gate for use with modular dungeon terrain. It's a two part piece; the front, pillared arch features different sculptures on the opposite sides of the pediment. On the 'noble' side is an archer-goddess and her griffin companion; on the 'infernal' side, a demon emerging from a pit, flanked by a draconic serpent and a hellhound. Thus with a simple reversal the piece can be used as either a good or evil temple. The two pieces also work as stand alone elements; the inner wall has labyrinthine designs and works well as the entrance to a maze, for example.

Very nice! Any idea on when it would be available and the cost?

GriffinTamer02 May 2014 4:16 p.m. PST

Thanks Slagneb!

I'll be launching my new line beginning with a Kickstarter campaign in just a couple weeks. Prices will vary depending on quantities, etc. but roughly $35 USD-$40 including shipping. I have a bunch of other pieces as well, please check them out!

I do like these. What are they made of, and how heavy are the pieces? How fragile?

BelgianRay03 May 2014 3:29 p.m. PST

I wouldn't mind using it as a pagan Greek temple/shrine/oracle.

Altfritz,

These pieces are cast in polymer resin. The temple weighs roughly 20 oz. / 550 g. I know some resins are fairly fragile but this is pretty sturdy; essentially it's a hard plastic. You'd have to really bash them with something to chip or break them.
