…this cyclopean cephalopod might well be screaming:

I picked up a couple of these dudes from Andy at Four A miniatures.

The beastie's sculpted by Kev Adams, and I reckon he has a number of uses: mutated Deep One, retro sci fi UFO monster, dungeon denizen, drunken cantina alien. Anyone got any more roles for him/it?

Spell casting backfire…

TwinMirror02 May 2014 8:12 a.m. PST

Ha ha!
Especially with Dungeoncrawl Classics insane spellcasting rules…pretty much every fumble leaves the wizard totally mutated!

I love DCC's screwy spell charts… every casting is an event where you're not sure whether to watch in awe or duck for cover.
This little weirdo might make a fun Patron.

I ordered it and a couple of other 'critters' just to add to my 'Space aliens' box'o-figs'…Mwah-hah-hah!

TwinMirror02 May 2014 11:13 a.m. PST

Space Monkey: yep, life's always a crazy party with dcc wizards.

dances: good call…I have a bunch of Four A freaky things, but there are so many more I 'need' to get for aliens to surprise my players!

I can see him as a trans-dimensional invader in a superhero setting. But what is that he's holding – a meat thermometer?

We're gonna' need a bigger gun … evil grin

tberry740302 May 2014 7:05 p.m. PST

Maybe its a probe! huh?

tnjrp02 May 2014 11:25 p.m. PST

Fun critter. A bit too silly for me to find a use for but still.

TwinMirror03 May 2014 4:17 a.m. PST

Maybe the thing he's holding doubles as both rectal probe and meat thermometer – after he's carried out his 'scientific' probing, he cooks and eats the remains of his 'subject'.
I don't reckon he has much sense of hygiene, after all, his mouth must open directly onto his stomach…
