Nice figures – with minor mods, the gunners would also make good infantry in fatigue dress digging the trenches in front of Savannah or Yorktown. A slight shame about the 4 porte-drapeau in the command pack (French battalions only had 1 flag each, not two), as a bit of research could have given them the option to include more officer/NCO options, or maybe a sapeur. That said, their hands are in a position that you can remove the flagstaff, stick a fusil in the right hand and have the left waving about, to give more officers. Still, not a bad start – hope they have more releases (especially the Colonial troops in single-breasted coats) as nobody has ever done the French properly in 15/18mm. |
