i recall a compiled list of facing colors and paints used for austria. does anyone else know of it. it made life simpler for we concrete minded types. just getting back into the hobby. thank you |

The Osprey book of uniforms of the Austrian Napoleonic army infantry. The book lists all of the units and their facing colors and national origins. |

thank you both so much. i am familiar with the facings. this was however a list of paints which were found to be the closest in appearance to the facing itself using acrylics. thanks peter will check these out. charles |

thanks peter. gotta love him with all the crap he took. much worse situation than eisenhower lol. whom do you play in war-games? needless to say mine are in white lol. |

the link by 11th ACR – gives faulty information and is at best disregarded, for example regiment Nr. 7 had brown facings and not blue. There was recently quite a good discussion on TMP were reliable data was made available |
