What are some nice figures for this period in 1/72-20mm or 28mm.Looking for figures that I can use as French in King William's War and New England militia plus 17th cen. Indians. Mark |

I would recommend Warfare miniatures also. You can get most European types. Less formal and a little smaller than North Star's 1672 range. Canadian militia were probably more old fashioned in their dress. They might best be represented by ECW figures, such as Perries ECW musketeers. They are on the smaller side so might work well with Warfare. French Marines: flintocks, no pikes. Close order or skirmish. Uniformed as other French regulars with blue facings. NE Militia: matchlocks and pikes, probably 2-1 proportions. Close order. Probably uniformed to some extent. Canadian Militia: mixed irregular muskets. Skirmish. Indians: TMP link |
