Finished the first unit of Principes this week.
Based on 40x40mm bases, figures from Agema.

Regarding unit size: Eventually there will be 16 figures, or 4 bases rather.
We're playing in a system with 2 bases = small unit and 4 = normal, so I couldn't resist fielding this unit as small, just to see how it would compare with the Aventine figures. They actually mix quite well.
So, that explains the lack of testosterone in yours truly :0) |

Great painting and very handy reviews thanks. Under Hail Caesar Roman small units (ie 2 bases) pack a real punch! Be interesting to add Victrix legionaries into the mix later this year. Garry |
