Hi Our friend Jesper had arranged a Battle of Chippawa July 5, 1814 game for me, Jonas and Sören during the week, using the Black Powder rules. The table we used was 120x240cm and all minis was from Jespers collection. The scenario was from the Niagara 1814 campaign book by Tim King, I´m not sure if Jesper used it as it is or if he tweeked it for our game, anyway we had a really good game:) I will not give you a full AAR, just some pictures from the game, they are found here Best regards Michael

Very nicely done. Michael, how did you like Black Powder? My friends and I have a large number of 28mm American Revolution figures painted, but have not found a good rules set. We were talking about trying BP. I have heard that if you like Hail Caesar you will like these. Allen |

It is really nice to see more War of 1812 battle being gamed. I would love to see more photos of your figures on the battlefield. For the best maps and OOBs for Chippewa and Lundy's Lane see Donald Graves two books on the battles. |
