I would like to do a 28mm diorama of this little known war.I would need figures with weapons that pre-date FIW,especially the indians as they didn't have as many muskets as the FIW period. As far as I know the English only had militia,no regular forces in North America. The French Had Compagnie Franches de la Marines but what were there uniforms like? And of course they had their militia. As far a figures Brigade Games has their King Philip's War range.Front Rank and North Star has ranges of troops for this period but most would not be in North America. Any help from anyone more knowledge on this period would be appreciated.

I like RAFM Flint & Feather figures very well, in spite of them being small 25s from the 1970s. I own a couple hundred and still paint more. Getting enough warclubs can be a problem unless you order extra weapon sprues:

Parkfield has some 25mm 17th century Indians, as well as New England style settlers. Standard size 25s, bigger than RAFM, but usable in the same game:

Wargame Foundry 16th-17th century Indians are excellent large 25mm figures. They mix well with Parkfield and go on the same table with RAFM. Thy were recently in production but aren't in the current Foundry catalog. They're worth writing Foundry and asking about them.
