I recently put the finishing touches to my First World War 20mm British Platoon for Through the Mud and Blood rules. You can see them all on my blog here:

Thanks for looking!

Way cool, to use terms borrowed from the youngens. I think I will embark on my Korean War venture. You've helped me make up my mind. For that I thank you. Although my Wife may not…

Very nicely done! They certainly have come out well

Nice work – they have come out well, and look great as a group.

The Vickers looks a touch anorexic, though there's not a lot you can do about it :-(

Cheers guys! I'm glad you like them! There is more to come, I have already started on a Platoon of Indians, plus I have some Highlanders waiting in the wings… and two tanks!

Rrobby, go for it, I'm sure your wife will love them when they are finished :-)

I had a question about the basing in that game. How do you feel about, on average, 2 men to a base for 20mm wargaming?

What size were those custom bases that you used?

Turtle, I've just seen your question, I have based all my Mud and Blood figures on Flames of war small infantry bases, two figs to a base.

The rules imply that figures should be individually based, as they all have individual actions. However, I thought it the lesser of two evils to have less choice with individual actions but make it easier to move the figures about and have an obvious difference between Other Ranks and the Big Men (who are individually based). I am guessing that in a game a section will probably all perform the same actions anyway, ie, all moving together or all firing together and it will be rare for individuals to split off from the rest.
