So I was reading a topic on a forum on the internet with two people discussing the rule system they personally liked best. person A thought the game he played was better than the game system person B enjoyed. Person B disagreed.

It got me thinking there isn't a place on the web I know of where people can rate table top war games. If I wanted to see what people thought of a movie I could got to IMDB or Rotten Tomatoes to see a quick numerical rating we really don't have that with miniatures and table top wargaming. I know Warhammer 40,000, Dust Tactics, and Warmachine are popular but on a rating system where would they stand, lets say from 1 to 10 (1 being terrible and 10 being near perfection) where would Infinity be? or Wargods of Aegypt? What about older non supported games like Chronopia or Void? what would the rating be for historicals like DBA or De Bellis Antiquitatis or Johnny Reb?

Would you rate a 'game system' that included a line of miniatures higher on the scale? or could a rules only game get a '10'? what do you like about games what do you dislike?

Doesn't Boardgamegeek have ratings? They have listings for most all the miniatures wargames I know of.

In general I think only games that share a common size/genre should be compared… like, don't compare some huge Napoleonics game to Song of Blades & Heroes… but go ahead and compare Fantasy Warlord to Warhammer Fantasy Battles.
