I am finishing up some 28mm Connoisseur/Bicorne/Old Glory sailors of the Guard at the moment. The uniforms are lovely. I believe Foundry also make them.

The unit was present at the Battle of Bailén.

Don't forget Perrys of course, who do them in full and campaign dress. They do look fabulous with aurore lace, but are a demanding task to paint! The Gringo figures are different in being in some nice action poses.

Also worth remembering their role in 1815 with Army of the North pre Ligny especially. Baylen they would rather forget I suspect!

@ Jammy Four,

At Salute, You had a picture of the great man on your poster, on foot, which is what drew us to the figure. Then I bought the horseman as well.

I suggest you stick both images on your website, if only as a painting guide. I assume the mounted figure is based upon the portrait of Murat by Gros, currently at the Museum of the Louvre in Paris?

Nice figure(s)

thank you, keep up the good work.

What is next?

Are you looking for ideas? If so ask TMP

Murat figure is indeed based on the Gros painting with a

dash of J.O.B…….your suggestion is a good one will

sort something out on that front!
