We like :-)

The addition of reins and repositioning of the sword arm are nice touches.

I still game with some Scrubys painted by a friend in the early 1970s. They are some of my favorite units, and they have no problem defeating Front Rank, Perrys, and other modern giants!

The figures are not horrible. They hold paint nicely.

I also like the wire reins. It is a clever way to make reins look even better than those on more modern sculpts. You don't get the blob of metal under the horse chin. Well done!

When I think of "old school" gaming and shiny toy soldiers, I always think of Scruby. One of the guys in our group has a Scruby French Napoleonic army and it is gorgeous.

Still have lots of Scruby's, but they rarely see a
table-top anymore, not since the last time I ran games
for kids.

Collection has some early napoleonic era Russians and my Army of Conde are the classic Scruby. As said before…. they have licked their share of the giant 28mm foes.
Nice paintwork on the featured dragoon.

And they are still available from Historifigs!

Many of my Napoleonic units are venerable Scruby figures, including one of my favorites – the Neuchatel Battalion.
