Getting ready to do a bunch of these. Does the snap fit really work or should I use glue to assemble them before I paint? Give me your opinions. Thanks |

Your choice
I generally glue them as it clamps up seams that otherwise might show on the finished model. The snap fit works, but I can't think of any advantages to not gluing them anyway – and I treat them in every respect like other kits

I glue as well. Makes for a better finish. Damon. |

I always glue the model using tamiya super thin liquid glue. |

The models snap together remarkably well, though a bit of glue may be required to close up some remaining gaps. I always glue in a bunch of BBs as well to give the models a bit of heft on the table. There are a few Zvezda model reviews at my blog, Spotting Round. Basically they're not as nice as other options, but it is sure hard to beat their price. |
