Last Autumn the Phoenix wargames club's long-term accommodation at the Polish ex-Servicemen's Club at Glenfarg Street in Glasgow folded with no notice. However in spite of rumours to the contrary, we are alive and well and now based at Partick Burgh Halls, meeting as usual on Tuesday nights from 6.00 – 10.00pm.

We play a good variety of games across many scales and periods. Recent games have included Bolt Action, Chain of Command, Check Your Six, Sails of Glory, Longstreet, King of the Battlefield, Dux Britanniarum and Hordes of the Things – and there is usually a board game or two being played as well. As you can see we play pretty much anything and are usually up for something new.

We don't do a great deal on-line, but we do have a Yahoo Group: link

Visitors and new members are very welcome: at the new venue there are a lot of rooms that we can expand into so space is no longer an object! In addition we will be putting on a Dux Britanniarum game at Carronade this year.

I come up to Scotstoun once a month or so. If my trips coincide with your games night I might well pop along to say hello :)
