The ancient sages used to say 'there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns -- the ones we don't know we don't know'.

I didn't know that I had purchased so much metal from Salute 2013 and that I had stashed it away.

I know the necessity to 'season and mature' war game metal for a good number of seasons before attempting anything with them but I just didn't know I had purchased stuff from Perry Miniatures, Pig Iron Productions, Claymore Castings and Wargames Foundry, and others – and plenty of it.

I need take a Sabbatical. huh?

I still find stuff in my garage from Salutes going back years, still unopened.
