What would you use for Proxies for the Danish army of the 1864 war? With Respect KTravlos |

I would guess Baccus late 19th century line has some minis that could work as Danes. Perhaps: Austrian Dragoons as Danish Dragoons; Republican French infantry in great coats as Danish Infantry; I think with a proper paint job there would not be so many who would object using them on the table. Hope this helps. |

The Baccus forum has a Proxy section. I would ask on there as people have a very good knowledge of the ranges! |

My 6mm 1864 Danes are ACW Union infantry. So are my 1897 Greeks. Chris |

ChrisBBB that is what I am leaning towards to as well |

If they do Wurtemburgers in their FPW range they would be ideal for the infantry. |

Heroics & Ros? Irregular Miniatures? Chris |
KTravlos | 24 Apr 2014 3:55 p.m. PST |
Irregualr does not have any 19th century stuff I think (At least I did not see any at their website). As for Heroic and Ros, I must be mean and say that was a terrible website for research (if it was the main website). |

Irregular have an extensive C19 range: link Their FPW list includes Wurttemberger infantry. Chris |

wow, that is not the website I saw. Thanks ChrisBBB |

My pleasure. As for H&R: presumably you were looking at the pdf catalogue at heroicsandros.co.uk ? It's worth inspection, they have a very wide range. H&R figures are very different from Irregular, and Baccus are different again, so your aesthetic preference may come into it too. Chris |
