We are looking for simple and quick ww2 rules (28mm figs)to entertain youngsters on a exhibition (no wargame show). Thinking about one or two tanks each side plus some 2 platoons infantry. Any advice? And if possible, free |

Bolt Action are simple and quick. I use them to introduce newbies to wargaming. And the pretty packaging helps. Once they are comfortable with wargaming, I gradually introduce them to better (in my opinion) rules such as Chain of Command. |

Brunet Private Matter has it spot on. I do the same and it works the charm! |

Maybe do it with historically valid units and also try ignoring the range restrictions/modifiers. We've found that speeds things up and makes players more careful – we also ignore pins for firing purposes. |
