Had my first game of Ronin last week. (Essentially it was an excuse for a friend to use all his purchases from Salute 2014!). The AAR is here – link I played the ambushers and never has lady luck deserted me like she did that night. The only dices rolls I won were the initiative and morale rolls. All in all, a quick game that doesn't require lots of space but does require decent dice rolls ;-) |

Ronin is an excellent skirmish game which can probably be adapted to any period where swords and spears are the main weapons with a few bows and guns added in . our club did an 8 player game based on the movie Seven Samurai (one player controlled all the bandits) and we had a great evening of hacking and slashing ! |
