Located in South Portland, Maine, Huzzah! offers more than 100 games over three days, May 16-18th, with a focus on historical miniatures and board games. There will be tournaments for players of Impetus, Fields of Glory-Ancients, Flames of War, and Bolt Action. Stay for a day or the weekend, or just drop by to shop and check it all out!

A few examples of what is planned for Huzzah! 2014…

The MHWA featured game will be The Siege of Danzig 1655, depicting the action before Danziger Haupt. The Swedes will be attacking the not yet completed fortifications. The Polish forces try to keep the garrison in the game while awaiting reinforcements. The game will be played in 28mm using By Fire and Sword.

Mike Paine will be bringing his 28mm China Station pulp game, Hanghai Raiders, which runs nearly all weekend long. This collection of mostly scratchbuilt terrain and ships has been the work of many long years and look terrific on the tabletop. Very kid-friendly, Mike runs a fun game.

The Black Powder New England Yahoo! Group will be running Battle of Paris 1814 on Sunday of the convention. This large participation game has lots of room for players, and for participants to bring along their own forces. Details can be found here: huzzahcon.com/?page_id=168

The Green Monster visits Maine is a game for the baseball fans out there. Replay the Red Sox vs. Cardinals 2013 matchup in a replica of Fenway Park.

Advanced Civilization will be played out over two gaming sessions on Saturday at the convention.

Fletcher Pratt returns to Huzzah! 2014 with a new scenario for WW2 ship enthusiasts, played in a separate room in 1/700. Call out your ranges as you push ship models across the floor!

Earl Richards brings his, Bloody Tomahawks, a new scenario for the French and Indian War. Played in 28mm with the Muskets and Tomahawks rules.

Ross Macfarlane and Rob Dean are bringing their 40mm AWI game, Drums Along the Mohawk.

Tom Desmond has been scratch building the walls and buildings for Camerone, to be played in 25mm.

Too many great games to list them all one by one but, hopefully, this gives you an idea of what will be played at Huzzah! The full event list is available here: link

Great people playing great games. I can't wait to see lots of friends from outside of the area.

I'll be there both as a vender (www.dayofbattle.com) and a GM. I am running two 40mm Saga Medieval games, a 25mm Day of Battle "Crecy" game and a 40mm Command and Colors Seven Years War game. Phew I'm tired all ready :)
