Our beloved prime minister, Tony Abbott, has confirmed that Australia will be purchasing 72 F35's and will be considering adding an additional squadron later on to replace the F/A18 Super Hornets we operate as well. According to our pm this is not new spending as we have been saving up. Both sides of politics here are in favour of this purchase. Link link |

I think Defence should be outsourced offshore like everything else. Manned aircraft are so passe. And QANTAS doesn't need ex-RAAF personnel anymore, so what's the point? If our Jindaloo radar system couldn't track a commercial jet, how are the F35's supposed to find anything to shoot down? |

The F35's are going to be equipped with J-67-RB119 Rocket Boosters and don't even need radar as they will be going so fast they will patrol the nation in about an hour. True Story. Please deposit 56 Billion. Signed, -Your Friends At Overpriced Aerospace Consortium. |

We've been promised they will be the smartest planes in the world. In that case I'm willing to vote for some of them in the next election. |

To pay for them, every Australian has to work until they're 70 before they will qualify for an aged pension. Or if you are 18 now you will have to be 80 years old |
