Does anyone remember this? This was too good a find not to share. I walked into my favourite Toronto hobby shop yesterday thinking I would buy the Ace model of this gun (as far as I know the only one currently available in 1/72) but I was reluctant to pay the sticker price. I will likely use it for one scenario I'm playing next weekend. Then in an obscure corner of the store I found these on commission. It looks as if they were made back in the 70's – the last two in existence still in their blister packs?? I wonder

Duh! I guess I should have figured that out having just placed an order with you guys. Good to know. |

Still a good bit of nostalgic fun though! Sometimes, it's the joy of the hunt and the memory of the success that is most satisfying. It wouldn't have been quite the same if they had been a different gun, would it? It was SERENDIPITY! |

Couldn't agree more, Beaumap. Serendipity is exactly the word. Funny postscript. If you take a look at the photo above you will notice that one pack is missing two trails and the hubcaps while the other has two right trails. So much for nostalgia! Bad quality control!! |
