Here is info link I think I will have to check this out. Will be nice 2 hour drive if weather is nice. And always a good excuse to visit Gettysburg. |

I get invites every year and I'm right around the corner. I never go though. Is it mainly toy plastic soldiers or is there some war game stuff there too? |

If there's toy soldiers in any scale, there's wargaming stuff

I believe the dominate scale is 54mm. That includes plastic and metal both the vast majority are metal and come painted. Most are used for display and dioramas versus any kind of gaming. You can get low end figures for $10 USD-$20 each all the way up to $2,000 USD or more. Each. I just sold some very collectible 54mm painted figures and the prices went through the roof. As for gaming personally anything above 28mm really starts to look odd to me. Truly playing with toy soldiers at that point in the classic sense of the definition. |

I have never been to this show before, so I do not have any first hand info. I am hoping to make it to the show this year though. |

jpipes -- we game/play in 54mm quite often with some surprisingly satisfying results. As the saying goes, "Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder." Some photos of a few of our 54mm games: link I wish I were going to Gettysburg for the show this Sunday, but it's almost 100 miles away for me. |
