Inspired by several things i thought id try to make a human equivalent of the Tripod. Then i thought that people would be inherently more comfortable with 4 legs or 2 and decided that that is the way we would go post invasion. Both to avoid terrifying the survivors who would supposedly not be as offended by a 4 legged machine that they would by another tripod coming down the street And as a way to show that this is Britain and we do things the British way. Not the way of the Martian brute.
This is not complete yet, in fact far from it, but i thought getting feedback at this point would be better if changes needed to be made than once it is fully complete.
The design is for 15mm and when done will have a spot for the Commander, the Artillery officer for the heat ray, the Engineer whose task it is to watch the engines and the Babbage gyroscopic calculator.Plus 2 Gunners and Loaders for the side mounted quick firing guns.
It will be cramped but then most armoured units (once they became common) were.
The top will be open as the engine will generate a lot of heat also to save weight and the heat ray system will protrude from the square socket in the front.
As i said. Any suggestions are welcome

Nice,

If my printer ever comes in I will take a stab at it.

Actually once it is finished processing (which with my computer could be never *L*) im going to put it on shapeways and see if 1: it is affordable and 2: anyone is interested.
I actually thought Victorian SF gaming was a bit of an obscure field which is why i haven't done much designing for it, at least for public consumption, but from the look of this site i was wrong. Damn my insular world
