About three weeks ago I saw an announcement showing photos of approximately turn of the Century German rifle armed sailors or Marines. I have since been unable to locate that post. Does anyone remember which company produced them? Or could anyone please direct me to the specific post. My searches have failed to turn it up. Thank you in advance. Regards |

Just as I am reading this the door bell rings, the mail carrier with my order of Tsuba sailors (and the Good, the Bad and the Weird). Beautiful figures. Perhaps the best rendering of a figure with an MP-18. Great poses. They fit nicely in size with other 28mm figs I have out on the painting table -- Some Musketeer Black and Tans and Pulp She wolves. I cannot think of any conversions to do on them, they are varied in pose, have a variety of weapons, one with hand grenade, one a standard bearer. a couple with with cutlass, but also a slung rifle. Ready to paint and play/. Order some and keep Marcus in business ! |

These are very nice figures, eminently suitable for the end of WW1 "Red" German sailors and post WW1 "civil war" in Germany. You might also want to take a look at the Brigade Games WW1 German East Africa sailors link (packs 15 – 18) which are armed just with pistols or rifles plus a Maxim MG team. There is one picture in this link: link Jim
