I painted up some cheap plastic sheep that I got from Amazon. I will be using these to dress up my LOTR or Viking games.

They look good. And you can never have too much livestock.

The importance of sheep as a scenario target in skirmish games is sorely underrrated.

Sheep. Ten thousand years of domestication to produce the stupidest animal on the planet. Fortunately they make up for their lack of brains by being tasty. This is how I like to see sheep.

As a matter of interest – do you order Ertl animals from the States? If so, any links to decent retailers?
Cheers

There are too many jokes about these being a good victory goal of "name a nationality you want to joke about" soldiers.

Actually, they were of far greater importance for their wool: no wool, no clothing other than leather! Sheep reproduce much faster than cattle, so they are actually more important than cattle for meat, as well as their wool. Cheers!
